Salome Kappelin (b. 1995, Lund, SWE, lives and works in Stockholm) is a multidisciplinary artist working across installation, drawing, performance, video, sound, and costume. She has collaborated with artists such as Jay Mck and Liselotte Östblom, filmed, edited and produced music videos for SmilingLIS, and designed garments for Boreal Sun’s 2025 performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Through an autoethnographic approach, her practice explores intergenerational memory, trauma, and inherited histories. Working with historical objects—particularly textiles— she investigates how material processes can be used to examine and renegotiate personal and collective narratives. Salome holds a BA in Fashion Design from Central Saint Martins in London (2020) and a Master's degree in CRAFT/Textiles from Konstfack, Sweden (2025). She has also recently completed theological studies at WTC in England.
